I want to say ..I am surprised someone actually pretended to be me defending NHCD.. I do not know the status of the Company but when I left I left because Seniors were being charged for a card that is given free of charge. I left also because employees put under my care worked long hours and never made anything. I want to clarify that me ..Joy Pachowicz..did not defend NHCD in the previous post listed here. Thanks I don't know what they are doing now..but I am not one to defend what they did then.

Michaele I am a person who worked NHCD too..but at the time was under the independent contractor terms. There are different rules now..so I have found out. All who are hired are employees and make hourly wages. Sure it's terrible to work long without much compensation..but at least there were leads. Think about some other companies that offer independent contractor programs: Mary Kay, Avon, Amway, and Melaleuca.. Not one of them can promise you will make anything..but persistance and hard work will eventually pay off. I can't speak for NHCD but I must say they appear to have changed..All companies undergo growing pains..and it seems to you ..that it couldn't be possible..But NHCD has changed and moreover there is no longer a deposit required.. Take care Michaele...Know that I too felt bad at one time about certain things..but, No company is perfect and if the company is willing to adjust who are we to condemn? Sincerely and praying you can have a better view of them..Just ask them now what their standards are.. Remember one person doesn't make the company and personalities of an individual is not necessarily the idea of a whole company.

I worked for NHCD for a couple of months and do not really recommend the company. I worked at least 13 hours to get people pre-qulaified. 3.00 per lead (lets dont talk about chargebacks)! I finally worked my way into recruiting. Had better luck but they were short on leads. I would get chewed out for not attending a meeting. ( I was told I would set my own hours) NHCD did not work that way with me. I did get paid for what I submitted but the "sales" person sometimes could not get the person to purchase and would put they did not request info and guess what charge back! Beauty Bar they talk about that they sell, well you can buy the same thing online for like over half the price. If you start asking them questions, they will offer you a "promotion". I think for the hours I was required to do and they do tell you to lie to get people to come work for them, I would not trust this company and they cant change that much the same man owns them!!!!

I must say, I have the deepest respect now for NHCD. I think a little more patience would have shown me, during the time I worked for them; that they were slowly moving to a more stable company. Now they have made some new changes and I can say the Company now is an embodiment of what I have been wanting to do for the seniors and for those seeking work. Trial and error is all part of the growth of a company..NHCD has taken into account the popular voice and made some very big changes.. Don't be afraid now to work for them..I think they have come out better then ever.."It's not making mistakes that is wrong ..it is not repenting when you do make them, or admitting that mistakes have been made or taking action when the mistake is pointed out" ( anonymous author) Hats off to you NHCD
