Nikki's Check Cashing charges ridiculously high fees for their ultra-slow, rude service. Many banks will give you a much better deal - and they're much easier to deal with than you think. Nikki's Check Cashing is a complete ripoff because, in my opinion, they misrepresent their preposterously overpriced services. Just add up how much money you pay Nikki's in check cashing fees in a year; it's $2,000-plus annually if you cash a big check every week. Banks won't charge you anything to cash checks and you can use their ATM's 24/7 without paying ANY fees! Thus, you will have $2,000 more every year to spend on anything you want if you'll just deal with a bank. Some nearby banks offer checking accounts that are completely free, provided that you make only one small deposit per month. I support free enterprise but not when a company like Nikki's Check Cashing overcharges you and takes advantage of hardworking people. Nicki's Check Cashing has two locations that I know of, at 9961 and 14000 Bustleton Avenue. Please avoid both of them if you want to save a ton of money!

Tyg's Comment is Ridiculously Uninformed

I have seen Tyg's silly, impertinent, illiterate comments on many Ripoff Reports. He seems to have little reading comprehension. I shall address some of Tyg's frivolous objections, in case anyone with an IQ above 50 takes his remarks seriously. Cashing a large check every week at Nikki's Check Cashing will cost you thousands of dollars in fees annually. Conversely, banks charge no fees and good credit is usually not required, assuming that you are not an outright crook (perhaps Tyg is, hence his bizarre rage?) Banks also offer the convenience of many conveniently located, always-open ATM's - versus Nikki's two locations and very limited hours of operation. You merely need to make a small deposit of as little as one dollar every month to maintain a no-fee checking account at many local banks. Naturally, another bank requirement is that you cannot bounce checks. Tyg is incredibly illogical, sanctimonious, arrogant, hypocritical, uneducated, illterate, and emotionally disturbed. Tyg should immediately visit a psychiatrist; his obsession with being in control and blindly chiming in on untold thousands of Ripoff Reports suggests that he needs medication and psychotherapy. I reiterate the main point in my original report: Nikki's Check Cashing rips off naive consmers by taking advantage of loopholes in the law that allow check cashing companies to charge ridiculously high fees - which can add up to thousands of dollars per year, even though banks charge no fees at all for infinitely more convenient service. No amount of illogical rationalization by subnormals like Tyg will change the facts.

Where is the ripoff? If YOU have to go to a check cashing place, odds are that YOU have screwed up so bad that no bank will LET you get an account with them. Since YOU need to cash that check, YOU go to a place that you are ALLOWED to go. The fees are just part of it. YOU complain about free enterprise yet FAIL to acknowledge the simple fact that the people who have to use their services are in a position that THEY HAVE NO CHOICE!!! Its called CAPITOLISM!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't like to pay the fees, then the great part is that YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! You DONT have to use ONLY them. No ripoff here. Just the usual mouth breather mentality. Heres a thought, perhaps if those people hadn't screwed up THIER lives so badly that they have no other option places like that wouldn't be open. YOU are showing the base behavior that has gotten most of the people into that situation. Indignant, ignorant, and self entitled. Three things that don't go together well for most. Indignant that someone else is making money that is NOT you. Ignorant due mainly to the fact that YOU have no idea what YOU are speaking about. YOU only see the front of the business. And self entitled mainly because YOU think YOU know better then anyone else even IF you are wrong in ALL of your accertations and assumptions. YOU don't know what it takes to run that type of business. Its a high robbery business. Its a highly SCAMMED business. THEY deal with the worst type of customers. People who have so screwed up their own lives that NO ONE will help them. No bank or credit union would touch them. So before YOU go showing the world the depth of YOUR ignorance, try and wrap your head around what YOU are talking about.
