Incentive Reward Center ripoff scam dubious guarantees false advertising fraudulent product testers wanted free $250 Toys R US Gift Card for being a Panelist, misleading marketing research no response to emails inaccurate information, no redemption voucher

As solicited via my personal email address and as advertised on

http://incentiverewardcenter.com claimed that "Panelist Wanted: Receive a FREE $250 Gift Card To TOYS R US", a marketing research promotion that is organized by "eMarket Research Group", now aka "Incentive Reward Center".

The deal as promoted was this: the consumer is to "test" (really "buy") 6 products from eMarket Research Group's 3 pages of product promotions; the information of these 6 transactions are then reported by the businesses being promoted (such as the Urban Nutrition, Discover Card, GM Credit Card, NY Times, Blockbuster Video, etc.) to eMarket Research Group within a 4 - 8 week period, whereupon the consumer will receive, on-line, a voucher for a free $250 Gift Card To Toys R Us that is to be sent in by mail and redeemed. The consumer is to complete all 6 required transactions w/in a 90 day period - a limited time period that includes the "4 - 8 week" time span needed for eMarket Research Group to receive the appropriate information from the promoted businesses (thus leaving about 30 days for the consumer to receive the on-line voucher and to redeem via mail).

eMarket Research Group has failed to reflect accurate information re: my own "account" - they suggest I have completed none of my required 6 transactions, where, in fact, I have completed 6 as of almost 2 months ago. After sending numerous emails to them via their website form (no direct contact information provided except for a supposed FL mail address - though I now understand the real business is located in Greenville, NC), After EMarket Research Group had failed to respond to these numerous email attempts to alert them to their faulty information and lack of accuracy I left a voice mail message and they contacted me via phone finally and HAD THE AUDACITY TO SUGGEST THAT I GO BACK INTO THE SITE AND SIGN UP FOR MORE TRANSACTIONS in order to qualify for the FREE $250 TOYS R US gift card. Their terms and conditions also state that a consumer's account can be terminated for any reason or for no reason at all, w/ no previous statement or reason given to the consumer beforehand. This gives EMarket Research Group the winning hand no matter what, as they need not follow through on any of their "promotions" or "free gifts".
