NJ CURE maintains their phone so that customers must wait an average of 20-45 minutes or longer to reach a representative. When asked why wait times are so long, representatives deny that people ever wait that long.

Representatives are rude and unhelpful. They will not transfer you to a supervisor, nor will they provide a supervisor's voicemail or extension, thereby making it impossible to lodge a complaint.

Written correspondence sent to NJ CURE is ignored and often "lost" or "never received." Because of this, the only reliable way to discuss your policy is to call and wait nearly an hour on the phone.

I have already reported NJ CURE to the NJ Dept. of Insurance and Banking. They have a consumer protection unit that deals with lousy car insurance companies. If you have had trouble with NJ CURE, you should do the same!! The number for the NJ State Dept. of Banking and Insurance is 609-292-5316. Call today and report them!
