NLPA Mr. Robinson Lie & take our money with out doing the job. Cinnsanati Ohio
Hi my name is Martha and NLPA was so un truthful to us they took something like $9000 from us to file an Appeal for my son & nephew I owed them $15k in total. After paying more than half NLPA comes out with the Lawyer taking the case wanted another $15k on top of the $15k we had been paying NLPA.
For almost 2ys it took us to pay $9k there was no way of paying another $15k. So I started looking over the work nlpa had done this far when I found out nlpa hadn't even filed an appeal on our behalf when I had e-mail Mr. Robinson asking him not to allow 60days to pass for the Appeal to be filled his answer was no problem, there being worked on right now.
A week or so I emailed him once more this time he answered everything is taken care of things are looking good and the boys would be home before we knew it. So I fill wow they really no what there doing, I had e-mail Mr.Robinson also making sure $15k was all we had to pay no hidden charges he replied $15k is what we agreed on never once was it brought to my attention that a lawyer would charge another amount never, never! And all the lies I found out about was not till recently maybe 3 months ago.
When I was told about the other $15 k I told Mr. Robinson there was no way of us paying that amount, that I was sorry but we could not continue to pay another penny to NLPA so he could fiugher out the amount they felt we owe them take it out of what we've already paid and send me the balance left, when Mr. Robinson informed me he would need to get back to me 2weeks pass with no information back from him , so i email him his answer was I owe them for there work put in on the case work but they would be willing to call it even if I was no longer going to need them to help on the case.
So NLPA just wants us to call it even for $9k or so that we've paid them already I no $9k might not be alot of money to some people but to our family it's really alot of money its money we worked hard for plus no help what so ever was provided. I really want to do something agents NLPA to try and get some or all even more than we've paid them just because it's to late for us to file any appeal now my 2 boys will sit where they are doing time for something they got tricked into admitting they did. Can u help me.?
