Finally, some small justice against Nailah Banton and Emerge Media Entertainment and Financial group and No Labelz Magazine....
The state of NJ labor department found in my favor for the month and a half of salary owed to me based upon the solid evidence I brought against her. With that I was able to get the unemployment due me, and am thankfully off Food Stamps too, and looking for the right job with a reputable company that I will enjoy and be proud of!
I got a call from the Dept. of Labor about two months ago, as she FINALLY tried to contest the rulling (I'm assuming to delay so that she could get any tax returns due her).
After failing to appear, and having sent my evidence to the investigator, she has again proven her guilt, and the State of NJ is going ahead to fine her in excess of $6,000 for violations and also get my salary... naturally a judgement was filed.
Still, she is hiding behind other scam organizations such as "RisQue AC Pride" to make money off innocent people.... and since my report, I have heard from several contracted employees and people whom she and her girlfriend have also screwed over.
It's a shame that she is still out there, acting ignorant and unprofessional and continuing to ruin the lives of others around her.
Let this be a warning to anybody who would choose to work with her, or involve themselves in her current "RisQue AC Pride" project.......
I have the State of NJ on my side, as well as the law.... all she has is lies and deceit.

Today I finally spoke with the management company who rented the office space to Miss Banton and Miss Bryant.
According to Apollo management, they did, in fact, leave the premises and break their lease (and not even return the keys) while owing 5 months in rent. When contacted for the monies, they were told by Miss Banton and Miss Bryant that "The check was in the mail".
To date, the management company still has not recieved the money, nor the keys for the office they leased to Nailah Banton and Whiteny Bryant of Emerge Media Entertainment and Financial Group/No Labelz Magazine and LeidyElle Public Relations.

I spoke again with my NJ Labor Department caseworker last week. After trying to contact Miss Banton repeatedly, they sent her a subpeona to her home address to appear on Wednesday, November 30th.
She again, did not respond to the request by the state, nor did she appear on the date requested. According to my case worker, due to her lack of response and flagrant disregard for the authority of the NJ Dept. of Labor (and the laws set forth by them), my case has now been moved from caseworker to her bosses for continued investigation.
As well, because Miss Banton has shown such casual and unprofessional behavior towards this matter, they are now going to go for the full $7500 (2.5 months) that should have been paid to me.
Also, I have stopped calling her attorney, because obviously he is of little or no help to her or the situation, and I'm going to leave it in the hands of the State of NJ instead going forward.
I'll give more updates after January to any progress with the Labor Department, or sooner if something else comes up.
Everyone have a wonderful and blessed Christmas, Hannukkah, and Holiday season!

I spoke with Miss Banton's labor attorney again this week, and he said that he finally got in touch with her, and that he sent her the 20+ pages of documentation that i had faxed to him almost a month ago.
I also got an voicemail update from my NJ Dept. of labor caseworker (as I had filed a report with them at the same time I resigned from my company). From what I understand in the voicemail is that she was to meet with Miss Banton and went to the Hackensack address listed for the company.... however, they had indeed moved from that locatoin without a forwarding address. (I figured this would happen, which leads me to seeing why she requested a certified letter sent there... so that she could push this off and say "I never got it"... thankfully i did get her attorney's address to send the copy to).
Anyway.. she has the home address for Miss Banton that I supplied her with and she will try and meet with her, if not, then according to State policy, she will then subpeona her to appear.
I did respond to my caseworker to have her clarify the meeting, and as soon as she gets back to me I will confirm or correct this part.
To this date, Miss Banton still continues to tweet and post on facebook the proper ettiquette of how to treat people and run a proper business... it's fun to laugh at.

I just looked through my e-mails between me and them, and realized I made a mistake in regards to when I responded to the ad and interviewed with the magazine. It was in the beginning of June, as my last day of work with the job prior was June 28th.
I will probably also post images within a week of the unclaimed letter that Miss Banton requested be sent to her, as well as email communications from her regarding this issue.
To date, there still has not been a single response from her in regards to this situation, yet she has been very adept at tweeting continued business advice on how to be a good business person.
