After re-reading the report on replacements for this vehicle, I need to correct a statement in this report. After running the VIN and receiving a very detailed report on parts that have been replaced on this vehicle, the report does not state the automobile had "minor front end damage". Although, the serviceman at a diferent dealership stated there had been minor front end damage with a headlamp and what not being replaced. He had worked for the dealer I am currently suing and didn't want to be involved because he still had a relationship with this dealer. The "monmount balance" is suppose to be Crankshaft Harmonic Balancer as well. Secondary Injection Hose has been replaced, right front door lock has been replaced, crankshaft harmonic balancer, all door locks replaced including the right front door lock a month earlier, fuse replacement, heated seat components,LT Headlamp,Heated Seat switch, emissions systems?, SDM Module replaced, LT COM HEADLAMP BLB, A/C Control Assembly replaced, Generator ASSY replaced, Battery replaced, A/C control Assembly replaced again (three times it's been reported), INST CNTR Panel replaced, RT Air duct R&R/replaced, Console cup holder, Elec Defr ACTR replaced, Elec Mode ACTR replaced, A/C control assembly replaced, RAD CONT RAD R&R replaced, A/C resistor replaced, Glove door R&R replaced, ash tray R&R replaced, Hi LVL stop lamp RP, Radio amplifier RPL, Tape player removed and repaired, Radio amplifier RPL again, and LT FT DR LCK R&R/RP. The above have been reported on the GM vehicle Inquiry System. I am so glad the salesman stated "no there hasn't been" when I asked him if there had been any engine problems. (Make a note for myself from now on, don't trust used car salesman and check the vehicle for yourself before purchasing, lol) I did however check the airbag covers on my vehicle at the advice of a reader and they do not say SRS on them. They do however say Airbag on both of them. Are they suppose to say SRS on the originals? Maybe I should check this out with the manufacturer. Thanks for the advice!

I find it interesting that you found there was been 'minor front end damage' I would look into this further. There is a possibility the car may have been severely damaged but an insurance company lowballed the claim and didn minimal repairs. Based upon my experience being sold a car that had been totalled and covered up, it sounds like this car has either been a lemon buyback, totalled, possibly both. Based upon what you've said, my guess is that this car has been in a major accident... the front end was probably smashed in would be my guess. Does this car have air bags? If so, is there an air bag light on as well? Also, if it does have air bags, check the covers, are they the originals? (Originals usually say 'SRS' on them, check both driver and passenger) check the vehicles history and trace the car's history as far back as you can.. hope this helps.

16. Right front door will no longer shut unless we lock it first. While transporting an Autistic Client of mine, we turned a corner and his door flew right open. If his seatbealt hadn't have been on, he would have flown right out of this wonderful car that Norman David sold me. No one can ride in the front passenger side seat any longer because after locking it and closing it, we can no longer get it back open. 17. Both foglamps have decided to fall off and dangle off the front bumper. Only one hanging foglamp works now. 18. While commuting 30 miles to a neighboring city, the car started to shake violently. The entire body rattled and made a loud buzzing noise. I was convinced that this day would be the end of my life thinking the car was going to blow-up! Heck, after all the problems I've encountered, I wouldn't have doubted it! I contacted the dealership and told them of the new problems, they asked me to bring it in. They were going to attempt to fix the new and older problems again for the umteenth time. I asked them if they had come to a decision on whether they were going to give me my money back but there was no response yet. I am tired of this ritual of taking it up and getting it back to deal with the original and new problems again and again. So I chose to not take it up and park it. I've now parked the vehicle in my drive-way. I've done some research on the vehicle by contacting another dealer and having them run the VIN on my car. The results were amazing! Many, many vital engine parts have been replaced on this vehicle including the water pump, monmount balance??, from work on the heated seats and right front passenger side door!! How about that? I asked the gentleman who sold me the car if there had been any engine problems or accidents in this vehicle. He told me no there had not. Even though the report given to me from another dealership said there had been minor front damage with the replacement of a headlamp and what not including the other engine part replacements. How about them apples? My lawyer is still waiting on a response to the drafted lawsuit letter given to the dealership. So far, they have not bothered to contact us. God help me! Oy!
