I was contacted by a telemarketer for North American Savings Center. He explained to me that if I sent in $397 I would be approved for a credit card worth $15,000-$40,000. If, I was turned down by 3 banks. I was told all I had to do was send copies of the turn-downs from the banks to North American Savings Center and I would be refunded my $397 and receive this credit card from them.
Well, I did send 3 turn-down letters from 3 different banks to North American Savings Center and I didn't hear from them again.
Within 3 months time I spoke w/ only one representative from the company (All other times, you get a answering machine, not a walk through system). The representative told me that they are in a 2 hour different time zone from me. So, I left a message for someone to contact me from there on and I haven't heard from anyone in about 3 months. Still, I call and only get a answering machine.
No one has contacted me since the day the telemarketer initiated the transaction.
