North American Telephone Network "ANOTHER" VICTIM ripped off and scammed Atlanta Georgia
I can't believe the complaint reports filed against NATN. I could have written them all! They all say the same things - an indication of how dishonest & totally disgusting this company is.
I, too, was a victim of the scamming and dishonesty of this long distance company. They promised great savings, and 1000 free minutes with no strings attached. Then after 30 days, I was put on a $36/month, a plan totally different than what I signed up for.
I cancelled my plan (in writing) approximately 45 days after first signing up. I continued to receive billings, with late fees, because they hadn't received my payments. Everyone customer service person (if they call it "customer service") was so totally rude I couldn't believe it. Finally I received a call from a lady that talked with me over an hour and told me I'll credit your account $79.61 and if you send $25 payment, the account will be paid in full and I apologize for the errors.
Just 2 days ago I received a call from the rudist person I have EVER spoke to. He said he needed to know my plans for paying this bill - I explained to him (for the 4th time now) the situation. I told him I spoke with a lady, and I gave him her name, that had taken care of the situation, credited my acct, I sent the $25 payment and the account should be paid. His comment to me was "And then you woke up!!" He told me to "crawl out of my dream world and take care of this bill!" I can't believe the people that they employ. By the way, the lady I spoke with no longer works there. Probably because she was willing to help customers and not belittle them.
This company shouldn't even be allowed to deal with the public. Please help to make sure they are not able to cheat anyone else.
