North American Telephone Network rip-off Atlanta Georgia
I subscribed to NATN in August 2002, after they promised to give me 1000 minutes free. They demanded they they charge my credit card or my bank account $10.00 for the initiation fee. I agreed to give them my bank account for that charge only. Instead they charged my bank account about $100.00 and they sold me a Magazine subscription for one year that I never ordered.
When I called them about the charges, they said they can cancel the Magazine and refund me the money, but it will take 60 to 90 days to receive my refund. I decided to cancel the services along the Magazine subscription for their customer relation as of November 13, 2002.
I called them 90 days later to find out the status of my refund. They said the refund is approved; however, it will take 30 to 60 days to cut the check. Two days ago, which is 5 months since I cancelled the services, I called to check on the status of my refund, they said that it will take 30 to 60 days from the date the check is approved and my refund is not approved.
I neither ordered the Magazine nor received it. I informed NATN representative that if I do not receive my refund of $72.00 for the Magazine, I will contact our Attorney General Office and file a complaint.
