I am a customer that was defrauded by North Carolina Furniture in the same manner as many other customers. I have seen numerous postings regarding this company.

They took a full deposit and claimed that the furniture had been ordered and was manufactured. However they kept delaying delivery until they filed bankruptcy. We have evidence that the store misrepresented the status of the furniture while they were aware that it was not going to be manufactured (because they never transmitted the deposit to the manufacturer!). They have admitted that they did not use the customer deposits to procure furniture, but used it for the day-to-day operations of the business.

This is obviously fraud, and according to their bankruptcy case, they have done this to over $3 million worth of deposits. Now, Neil Baser and Sarah Baser are in the process of opening another furniture store!! They must be stopped.
