North Port Suncoast Tiles, Inc. Carpet and Tile Store ripoff. Showroom tile sample didn't match box of tile purchased. Returned tile, got no reimbursement. Port Charlotte / North Port Florida
Purchased a special order box of tile from salesman Bob K. in May 2008 from Suncoast Tiles, Inc. Returned the box two weeks later when I realized it had an orange tint unlike the brown store sample. Went back to Suncoast Tiles, showed them the difference between their sample and the product I purchased. They commented on the difficulty in matching the store tile with my home tile. I assured the sales team the issue was: the box of tile I purchased didn't come close to matching the showroom tile, let alone my home tile.
I was told someone would get back to me. They never did. I sent a letter. They didn't respond. Now they have the tile and my money. I'm considering other action. Just wanted consumers to beware Suncoast Tiles on U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) between Port Charlotte and North Port, Fla.
