North Shore Agency Harrassing Letters to Non-Existent Person At My Address Westbury New York
I began receiving collection letters for a person I did not know. My home was a new build with no existing address or mailbox and I listed it as a viable mailing address to the USPS.
Within about one week of sttling in, I begain receiving letters form North Shore on an Entertainment Weekly subscription to a person I never heard from. I attempted to notify the Agency and could get no where throught he automated system. If you didn't want to pay, oh well, you were stuck.
I looked online with the BBB of New York State and got the Corporate Phone number which is 516-370-9300 and got through directly to Customer Service. I was ablre to handle my dispute over the phone and I was told that North Shore DOES NOT report to any Credit Bureaus. I would advise anyone out there who feels threatened about their credit report to call the Corporate Office and verify this statement with North Shore.
I hope this helps anyone in the same predicament I was in.
