North trail RV AC, generator, piece of junk RV, nothing works Ft Lauderdale FL
We bought an RV from North Trail RV. We were told this used 2006 unit was in great condition. We decided to buy the full extended warranty just to be sure. In the 8 months that we have owned the unit, we have had it in the repair shop 75% of the time. Either at north trail rv or a vendor they recommended. Then each time we take the vehicle out, it has another probllem, again.
My family and I planned a 3 week trip in our RV this summer. But guess what, our AC and generator do not work, still.
After having it worked on time and time again by North Trail RV, where we purchased this lemon. I do not recommend buying an RV from this dealership without a guarantee of a good product. The unit we have has never been good. I doubt it ever will be. But our sales person told us it was reliable. Obviously, not the case. The service department can't fix anything that breaks. The warrenty does nothing for us, but I'm sure the sales guy got a nice bonus for selling it to us. The sakes manager points out to us that the extended warranty does not ensure the unit works, just that they will try to fix it (and holdour unit for 5 to 10 weeks at a time).
