Northway Financial - Pemigewassett - Berlin City Bank Ripoff hidden fees, ripoff business accounts, discrimination, over charging, deceptive business practices Laconia New Hampshire
You learn a lot when you open your own business. Just so you know The Berlin City and Pemigewassett Banks are not your business partners and they will steal your money and time anyway they can. The charges that I incur from Northway Financial (The Parent Company of the two banks just mentioned) are not only ludicrous, but in my mind should be regulated and illegal. I am charged for every deposit I make as well as every check I write as well as the monthly charge that I have been so lucky to pay every month for having the privilege of depositing the money that I work seven days a week on an average of thirteen hours a day to earn. Because of this I cannot make it to the bank very often and when I do, I have to close my store down to do it. I don't have any employees for two reasons. I can't afford to pay the taxes and workman's compensation insurance.
Another reason is I don't trust anyone with my money. So what do you think happens my friends? I sometimes have insufficient funds in my account. Now it's bad enough that the bank charges me twenty-five dollars for every check they cover. ( I incurred a $100.00 in charges two weeks ago and another $25.00 today) Sometimes they send my checks back to my vendors at their convenience. They don't send them all back, just the checks that they feel should be sent back at their convenience. This should not be allowed to happen.
There should be rules that state that the consistency of insufficient funds checks be across the board and not when Ann the branch manager of Pemigewassett in Laconia, New Hampshire feels like it. Banking with them has without question been the worst experience of my life. I do not hesitate to tell everyone that I know how badly I have been and am treated.
