Dave gave you good advise in calling he F.C.C. but I would also put it in writting. Any company residing in NJ should also file a complaint with the B.P.U in NJ Board of Public Utilities Div. of Telecommunications 2 Gateway Center Newark, NJ 07102 Good luck

In addition to the complaints to the FCC, consider contacting the PSC (Public Service Commission) in your state. The PSC regulates the utility companies, including phone companies, which must be licensed and approved. In my state, we learned that Norvergence had not yet applied for, much less received approval from the PSC to sell phone service at the time my client entered into the "contract" with them. You may also wish to contact the Attorney General in your state to make a formal complaint about the business practices of this company. If they get enough complaints, they will initiate an investigation and have the authority to close the company down within the State. Good luck. And if anyone has the "sales script" I'd love to have a copy.

In reading the posts about Norvergence, I have noticed that, as posted, the only method of contacting the Federal Communications Commission is via postal mail. To make it easier for all of you, the Head of the Enforcement Bureau's Telecommunications Division at the FCC is Ms. Colleen Heitkamp. She is aware of Norvergence and she can be reached at (202) 418-0974. I hope this speeds up the process for all in need of the FCC's service.
