We signed up for Norvergence in October 2003 for cell phones, long distance, 800, local and internet service. Upon "approval" we were sold to a leasing company.

Very long story short- SEVEN (7)MONTHS later the services we have received were the cell phones, one internet line and a "Matrix" box housing only the internet line. The major portion of our phone expense is in long distance and local lines which Norvergence and the leasing company continue to bill us for yet have not provided. Norvergence used the total of our bills in their price comparison that included all state and federal fees and taxes.

Their invoices charge for the flat agreed fees plus amounts not in the agreement, plus taxes and fees making the whole program savings not worthwhile even if they were providing the services. Additionally we have the expsense of our existing local, 800 and long distance services.

We have made exhaustive attempts by phone, fax and mail to have the Norvergence provide services in the agreement. Customer Service, Management and Accounting give you the run around and take no action what so ever for resolution.

We have stopped using the cell phones and had the internet line taken out. We have hired a lawyer, filed complaints with the F.C.C., Our State Public Service Utility, Better Business Bureau, Our County Consumer Protection Agency, and our state's Attorney General.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING NORVERGENCE- agencies are in process of investigation but their complaint report statistics may not be up to date.

ALSO NORVERGENCE OFFERS FREE CELL PHONES IF A COMPNAY WILL PROVIDE A GOOD REFERENCE. Thankfully, a search on the web will produce enough legitimate companies that are willing to share their experiences so steps can be taken to expose these fraudulent practices.

Patricia from Norvergence advise in a rebuttal to call Norvergence Customer Service to resolve your problems is beyond the height of absurdity.

Sherry I also are feeling the same frustrations and problems that you are. I have focused my energies in getting out of this ridiculous contract, getting rid of this useless equipment and cell phones so I can get on with running my businesses. Please contact the FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISIONM, this complaint will force Norvergence to contact you within 30 days to try and resolve your problems. Along with PSC I have contacted the BBB both locally and in Newark NJ, FCC, FTC, Consumer Protection in Pinellas County and in New Jersey. We all have to be deligent in our mission. I am even contacting Peter Salzano, CEO via email on a daily basis. I have a stack of emails 1/4" thick that have been unanswered along with a list of 20 employees that I have contacted within the last 6 months. I call Norvergence on an average of 3/4 times a week and document everything. I copy my emails to the woman who sold me this useless system and also Peter Salzano. I have been in contact with a business in Tampa who also has all the same problems as us, and we are exchanging strategies. He also is emailing Peter Salzano regularly. We just can't let them get the best of us. We are business owners and we won't be beaten by a deceitful company such as NorVENGENCE....VENGENCE WILL BE OURS IN THE END.

HIRED A LAWYER SERVICE SHUT OFF

Reply to Arlington, TX 6/11/04 We have also hired a lawyer. If a class action would be beneficial we are willing. Norvergence had our long distance service shut off this week on 2 ( being our main phone number and fax number) of our 7 phone lines. Or Qwest shut it off due to Norvergence not paying them. Our original agreement was for 7 lines and during installation it became apparent that they were only going to provide their service on 2 lines. After exhaustive calls, Norvergence admitted their error. However, they never provided the correct services and did not put our lines on the T1 they installed, never provided service for 7 lines as agreed-BUT!!!they continue along with the leasing company to bill us for services for 7 lines. I guess the only thing in the T1 was an internet line which also went down Friday We did not even realize they pulled our main number and fax number onto Qwest until this week when we went down Friday with out long distance service. And of course we are not a Qwest customer because Norvergence is their customer, so Qwest will not talk to us. And after 6 exhaustive months of getting no where with Norvergence, we have all contact go through our attorney which Norvergence has yet to respond to either. BEWARE!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! FILE COMPLAINTS WITH EVERY AGENCY YOU HAVE ACCESS TO: FCC, YOUR STATE PUBLIC UTILITY, STATE ATTORNEY, COUNTY CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCIES
