Ocwen Federal Bank ripoffs put us through HELL!
This company has sent me through hell for the past eight months. My mortgage was purchased by them from Delta Funding Corp. I fell behind, and every attempt I have made to catch up, they inadvertently do something to insure this does not happen. Most recently, I mailed in my past due payments, two months, by regular mail, and here we stand 15 days later, and they claim they have not received them.
Whenever I overnight payments, i still get charged late fees, because they say I have to allow enough time for payments to be posted, despite the fact payment is received in the office before my account can be reported as being 30 days past due. When I allot extra time, the checks are rushed through and bounce in the bank, then I face another charge. When i have done a check by phone with them, it has taken almost thirty days to pull payment out.
I am a single mother struggling to get on my feet, who the hell has 30 days to let 900.00 just sit in the bank. I am at my wits end with this company. I am constantly being charged late fees, attorney fees for a demand letter that is sent each month, mind you this fee is $100.00 on top of everything else I owe. I am trying to keep my house out of foreclosure, but I am getting no help what so ever. Every time I get close to breaking even, out of no where they throw in something else. This company needs to be put out of business, because they are truely taking advantage of consumers!!!
