Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I found out 2 weeks ago that Ocwen bought my house mortgage from CIT Group. I haven't received any information from them. No billing statement, etc. I've e-mailed them but haven't had any response.

When I called their customer service #, it requires you to enter either your account # or your SS#. Well, since I haven't heard from them yet, I don't have an account number. And when I enter our SS#'s the automated systems says "invalid number, please try again". I went round and round with this stupid automated system and have not been able to get to a representative.

Very frustrated.

My payment was due yesterday. But I have no address to send my payment to and no account number. How am I supossed to pay my mortgage??

I've been reading everyone's stories and I'm very upset & worried. I've only known about this company for 2 weeks and already I'm having problems.

Any suggestions?

RICO OCWEN is running around its cirlcles of friends with your loan

Jodi, What you are experiencing happened to me, exactly. And it happens to a lot of Ocwen's victims. Ocwen "does not have" your social security number nor your loan number, because they are still "proccesing" your loan. This is what a rep. will tell you if you are lucky to get one alive that would listen to you. That rep. will tell you that you are to wait because your loan is "too new to be in the system". It happened to me, and I learned my servicer within the first three weeks was Goldman Sacks, a rep. said to me. They will not put it in writing. They never put in writing their robbery. After some period of time, they will "suddenly" have you in their system with a new loan number. When it happened to me and asked the Ocwen rep. why they had changed it, I was told it did "because Western Union does not like longer numbers like the one you had before." Like if I wanted to send my payments using Western Union. They have a deal with Western Union (favorable for Ocwen and hurtful for your pocket). Anyway, Ocwen has all your financial information, including your loan and the power to profit with your equity and other financial tools at your expense, without your knowledge. THAT IS THE REASON WHY THEY KEEP YOU IN DARKNESS. They are protecting thier friends (those corrupted people and instiutions within their financial rings). OCWEN IS RUNNING AROUND IN ITS CIRCLES OF CORRUPTED INSTITUTIONS WITH YOUR HOME AND YOU LIFE. It's called RICO, Ocwen's Specialty in Crime, and Mr. Kweku Hanson class action is based on this, and on all crimes they commit. From this type of thing, called RICO, the rest of all their wrondoing derives. Ocwen's nortgage malservicing and predatory practices are pale as compared to OCWEN RICO. (I hope you already sent your notarized Affidavit to Mr. Hanson, explaining this and other related Ocwen's problems- for your benefit). Do what Elvera told you to do, EXACTLY. And do some thing else (I add this advise because your case is similar to mine). 1. Dont' wait for an statement or loan number to send the beast its piece of raw meat (your payment). Send them your check with your social security in it, and explain in the memo you expect them to apply it to your loan. Write a letter accompanying your check expressing that you are disspointted and that you don't want to be penalized with fees caused by their incompetence (It is not incompetence, it's pure and pre-calculated malignancy; but you want to sound polite in this first letter). Send copies of this letter and of the check to all the people Elvera told you, and also, to the IRS and to the FBI, and to your State Attorney. It would be smart to send it to the Department of Revenue as well. IRS. Copies for the IRS accompanied for a letter for them is a vital need. Assume Ocwen is making a profit for them and for its ring points and reporting things to the IRS under your Social Security number. So, explain your fear to the IRS so they know you are honest, and it's not your fault . Explain you never gave your okay for anything else some one might be reporting for you. Remember this is the end of the year and you don't want the IRS to be misinformed about you when you report to them later on for 2003. RICO CRIME REQUIRES INDENTITY THIEF. And all fraud derived from it, requires it also. FBI. Send similar letters to the FBI (local, state and national- don't forget Ocwen's experience in adding corrupted points to its circles, so collect witnesses). DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE- Send a similar letter to this department and let them know you are not making any profit with your home. Explain the situation to them, so you are not responsible for Ocwen's caca if they want to use it against you later on. STATE ATTORNEY- I suggest you send a similar letter to this one too. If your State Attorney is as stupid or indolent, or ----? as the FL State Attorney, they will refer your letter to the OTS (another name for Ocwen) and pretend they don't know OTS is there to protect Ocwen's interests, not yours. YOUR INSURANCE- Find out about your h*o Insurance, because they might not want to honor it later on, since there is no loan number to acknowledge your policy. They do this on purpose to force insurance on you later on. I found out this the hard way. Send a letter to your STate Department of Insurance expressing your reservations. Send them copies of your insurance (In FL is illegal to change the loan number the way they do it, I don't know about other states) You send all these letters with copies to everybody else (Cerified, Return Receipt), and for yourself. And you keep extra copies for later use, in case it's needed. Do what Elvera told you. Don't forget to complaint with the FTC. They have an Identity theft Affidavit (this is a separate complaint) that you are to use because you gave Ocwen your social security number and now they don't let you locate your loan when you try to have the information by using it. Hurry up! Do all of this! Don't forget to include all this information in your Affidavit to Mr. Hanson. LAST and highly important: Call CBS, send them an email telling them you are an Ocwen's victim- it does not need to be a detailed account of your problems, you can be consise and brief here (emails are free and it's a relief, since you have to spend a lot of money sending Certified letters to so many people). Keep the green cards with all their signatures, and make abundant copies of all of them, for your protection. Jodi, you can do more than all of these if you have some imagination and an strong love for your family. Don't be afraid to do this. Think about it this way: If Ocwen has your SS number and knows almost all about you, ...Can other institutions hurt you more by knowing about your victimization? Just the opposite, Jodi. Do not dispair! Keep your head cold and your heart hot and full of anger and hate for OCWEN RICO. You are doing it for your family, and for your life, and also, for your fellow Americans. A hug.

Hi Jodi, Since your loan has just been transferred, per RESPA you have a 60 day reprieve from any troubles with the payment. Of course, with Ocwen, you have to protect yourself. Do this: Go to the HUD website and print out the RESPA requirements for servicers of loans. Also look at the sample of the 'qualified written request' at the HUD site. Then, send your payment to your old servicer together with a copy of the RESPA requirements. Send it to their customer service address with a letter titled 'Qualified Written Request' in which you outline what troubles you have. You must send this payment by registered mail/return receipt (to protect yourself) Next, send a RESPA letter (or Qualified Written Request) to Ocwen together with a copy of the RESPA requirements, also registered mail/return receipt. In this letter you must remind them of their obligations to you the borrower. This is just to protect you, or to buy you time in case ou want to refinance to get away. Do not think for a second that your payments will be taken care of if you do not send it registered mail. Ocwen will make sure that they don't know of any paymants you have made, if you don't send them registered mail. Also, copy HUD the same way. So then your old servicer is put on notice that you are in dark about the transfer, HUD is put on notice and Ocwen is put on notice that you know what to do, legally! Go for it! They do not wait to take your home...so why should you wait to protect yourself?
