Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Does this not seem suspicious to someone that all of us have the same d**n story over and over again. When will something be done?? We are finally free of them or will be on Tuesday. These SOB have drained us mentally and financially over the last few years. I figured it would be a nightmare to get a pay-off out of them..And it was. There were charges on the pay-off that the loan officer nor his underwriters had never seen before!!! Future late charges, LCD requested BPO, property inspection????????????? How can you have charges for the future thats not here yet? Who knows what LCD and BPO is?? (Ocwen don't) and property inspection??? They are in FL and we are in OH and noone inspected our house!!!!!! What a nightmare! We financed 40,000 in '98.....payed over the monthy pmt each time(thinking we would get ahead on principle) and with all the penalties and bogus charges had a whopping payoff of...get ready....over 42,000. We thought about getting a lawyer and fighting this, but at this point....we HAD to get away from these jerks! I see so much on this website that is so familiar. The suspense account is their answer to everything. Here's a hint. Wait till you find out that you are being charged for each call from AMY ( the automated message), each late notice letter, and each time you ask for a transaction history, that one's 50 bucks. If you keep calling back enough, you will eventually find out that each employee is stupider than that last and they are so stupid that they will rat the other one out for being stupid and not even realize it. Keep diggin...but it might frighten you to find out what they are really about. The only unanswered ???? i still have is......How can these idiots keep getting away with this??? Class Action sounds great....tell me when and where and what you need and its on!!!!! My advice...get out....then sue. The more you fight em..the more they charge ya!!!!!!! Lets screw these assholes back ASAP! I wish the best of luck to all of you still stuck. Just get OUT!!!!!!

The 2 payment books I have are just another example of Ocwens shoddy bookkeeping. They told me they did not do payment books also. I received one in the mail on 4/2/01 Then received another on 5/19/01. There wasa difference of 156.20 in the 2 books. also one had a late payment of84.00. The other had a late payment of 76.00. There are two different addresses to send them to. One is in Fla. the other in New Jersey. I called and tried to figure out what was going on , what to send etc. They acted like they did not know what I was talking about. One Lady asked me if I requested a payment book . I replied no. She had no answers for me. I am sure none of this surprises any of you. This is just another example of how they do not know what they are doing and some more paperwork for our lawsuit. I have kept every shred of paperwork on them. I have logged phone calls etc. I am ready for them. Lets get together. Teresa Pegram, Tenn.

I have received calls in the past also plus I have received letters. Now, I mail my check say two days before the month end for it to be received by the first of the month, therefore, it should, now I say should be posted by the 15th. So far I have been lucky, and they are. What I have done to stop the potential phone calls is this, give them a wrong phone number, such as 999-9999-9999. Then the computer CAN'T call you. On the issue from another person on the insurance and proof thereof, try this, it may take a couple of times, but I have gotten results. Scan the proof of insurance and then send it to their customer service email on their site. Someone HAS to open it, and then wala, you have your receipt that it was received plus you will have a name to whom it was opened by. As far as a class action suit, count me in too. I would love to pay my mortgage each month and not have to worry about all this other crap Ocwen pulls. I can be contacted at [email protected]. So far knock on wood, my credit hasn't been affected. Granted I am current, but they have pulled 3 credit bureaus in one year. If I can help anyone, let me know. Email me. I am keeping my name secret as I don't want Ocwen to know my true idenity. No telling what they would try to do..... Last thing, one person mentioned a payment book. Ocwen doesn't do payment books, they do statements, and statements only. You can have them schedule to mail the early so you have it early in the month.

I dont mean to startle you but you still may not be away from them. We had a Lady in our group that was the lead Plaintiff on the Class Suit filed here in Nashville. She was sitting in the Bank and even saw the check for her refinancing, The Banker came out of his Office and told her we have a problem. Ocwen has decided that they have to have 7,000.00 more. Of course they couldnt say what it was for. So her refinance fell through and she lost her home. Our Lawsuit was not certified but we dismissed with prejudice meaning we can refile within a year. I beleive we will get certification this time due to all media &internet coverage on Predatory Lenders. We are working with a firm in DC right now. Also many States are trying to pass Predatory Lending Bills. I know Tennesse has a Predatory Lending Task Force & working on a Bill. Ocwen is on their list.Georgia is working on a bill. Also DC. There is a Senator Sarbaines that is working hard to get something done. North Carolina has passed protection. I am warning you about what happened with this Lady so you can be prepared. Have a Lawyer or some protection. I hope that you can get away from them .Ill be Praying for you and Im sure everyone else will be too. Good Luck
