Story of Hell about Ocwen Federal Bank relating to mortgage scaming customers. I first took out a loan on my property which I was leasing to people. The mortgage note was refinanced in 8/1998. Then in July of 2001 Ocwen began to service the loan. Every since they became the mortgage company I caught total hell. I would send the payments on time but was always being charged for $100.00 letter and some months they took $200.00 for attorneys letters when I had sent the payments on time. Then in the month of January my property was placed in foreclosure , I was allowed to pay the 2 months they said I owed and the attorneys fee's which this was not true due to I never missed a month and I sent all canceled checks in to show proof they had cashed these checks and maybe not applied thes payments to my account correct. These staff was so rude and argued my to no point and I was forced to pay or my property was going to be sold. I then was approached by this person to take out a loan since he learned about the foreclosure with the county records saying he could prevent this from happeninig again by lending a loan and refinance the property but this was all a lie. I entered into a loan with him then he starting to saying he purschased my property by assumption but get this Ocwen started to accept his payments, talking to him, giving out information to him after I instructed them not to. Now, I request them to acerate the note, so I can get from under this problem, and all they are doing is allowing this person to assume a not under my name illegal. I need help as soon as possible, I know this is against the law. I don't have the funds to fight this illegal practice, the property is trashed by the tenant living in the property illegal , then finally the courts in Harris County is saying this is the person land, when he didn't pay Ocwen and I am just ready to say the hell with it. If any one see or read this please tell me what other avenue I can take to help with this solution of this mess I am in.
