Ocwen F.S.B. Seems like a lot of foreclosure threats being delivered at income tax return time Orlando Florida
In Nov 2002 I realized I would not be able to make my mortage payment in full. I called Ocwen to see if I could make a partial payment, then catch up in Jan. and Feb. I spoke to a lady named Carol. She said this would be acceptable. Then in Jan., Ocwen returned my cashiers check for a full payment plus $100.00, stating this was not enough to make my account current.
I then called Ocwen's 800 #. After putting my account # in I was transfered to Moss Codillis where I got the voice mail of Dafinis Ben in which I left a message for them to please contact me about this issue. 2 weeks went by and I called again. This time I said I would like to know if I should just move out. With in 1 hour I was called back by Dafinis Ben, informing me I was in foreclosure, and it would take $2,700 to bring my account current, and had to be payed by Feb 28 2003. I asked for a detailed bill she said she would fax it to me. I waited for a week - no fax, no bill. I called again, and at this time Dafinis Ben informed me that the bill was now $4,500, so once again I asked for a detailed bill and she once agian asked for my fax #. I waited for another week with no bill. I called once agian and asked for a detailed bill, finally on Feb 25, 2003, I recieved the bill.

I have sought advice of an attorney. I have just offered a Quick deed in leiu of a foreclosure. If this is unacceptable I will follow the other advice of my attorney. (When I told them this on the phone they couldn't believe I was willing to give my house to them.)
I have phone records to prove each and every call.
