OCWEN ripoff. The house was in my mother's name, OCWEN put it on my credit report. I was 11yrs. old when my mother purchased the house. Palm Beach Florida
I will try to make this as simple as possible. My foster mother purchased a house in 1979, I was 11 years old at that time. She passed away in 1993, I was 25 yrs. old. OCWEN told me that I could not stay at that property because I was not down as an heir. I asked the representative if I could countined to make the payments could I stay the representative said yes.
Right after my foster mother's death, I sent them a copy of her death certificate and I also asked them (OCWEN) to send me paperwork as to whether she had death insurance on the property. Well...I guess you know I never received it. And after the representative told me I could stay, I received foreclosure papers and the sheriff put my daughter and I out in the street and I had to move in with family.
Now OCWEN told me that the balance on the house, after my foster mother passed away was 7,000.00 then all of a sudden they slapped on these charges I don't know anything about, the total went up to 15,000.00. My whole point is ..I need someone to help me to get this house off of my name and credit report, because I never purchased it and I have all the paperwork to prove it. Charvelleite (in Philadelphia)

I have a suggestion that may help... First off with all the paper work and documentation that you have, contact the major credit bureaus. Based on what I know, given your situation, this is false reporting to the credit bureaus and it has to come off of your record or get this, Ocwen can be sued... Funny, isn't it? But it is the truth. What do you have to loose? Good luck, and join the class action suit.
