By now I assume you know Ocwen will not hardly lift a finger to help you. They want your house. What I did was tell them they could have this piece of s--t house and that it would cost them more to fix it and sell it than if they accept one payment now and two in the following month. As long as you are paying more than your original Note and Mortgage, you do not have to sign those stupid forbearance agreements. I was told that by the Mortgage Co. that I was trying to refinance with. I haven't signed any in 3 years because I don't agree with the ammounts. I haven't filled out their financial report for at least 5 years. I tried to get Ocwen to refinance my loan so I could get a lower interest rate. Some mortgage companies will do that so you don't go elsewhere. Not Ocwen I also tried to set up the Bi-Monthly payments to save a little on interest. No Way! Not Ocwen. Their comment we don't accept that. They are greedy. Not only will they not give the fixed rate mortgages a break, look what they are doing to the revolving intrest rates. Charging way more than the average back in 1989! And if you pay check by phone they can't charge the late fee so they charge $5. $10. or $15.00 to accept your money. Not to mention their occassional late postings trying to collect both. Then when you dispute anything in writing they send you a letter saying they are looking into the matter twice. After these two identical letters you never get any feedback. OOhh I certify anything I mail them and ask for things they tell me on the telephone in writing followed by a typed letter certified asking for agreements and etc. in writing. I am getting ready for the kill! Another fed up customer getting prepared!!
