I too used to get the daily "computer" generated calls. I would mail my payment on the first. They (ocwen) they could call daily, up until the 15th of the month and it too was computer generated, yada, yada, yada.

Want an answer to the problem? Ok. First either change your home phone number (the phone companies will do this free for harrassing calls, say once) then tell OCWEN you changed your number. Ok, say call the 1-800-74-OCWEN, tell them you need to change it on their records after they verify your phone number.

Tell them you are calling from a phone booth, and that you DON'T have a home number any more. Tell them or ask them to key in 999-999-9999.

It worked for me. Tell them you have changed jobs, and work with a cell phone or something. The cell phone you can't give out, because it's not yours.

I did that too, and it worked for me. I have not had a phone call from them in well over a year. They don't have their payment in their hands on the first of the month either. However, they have it before the 15th.

Granted some of you may not like to lie. Neither do I, however, turnabout is fairplay, right? We all have to stick together. I wish I could reply to some of these but I don't have emails. Does anyone know how we can convers other than this forum?
