When you wrote your check, you were paying for a portrait package. You were given an appointment which you were to come and have your portraits made. Then you would view the photos and pick the pose you want for the package. All you would pay at that point is the $4.95 shipping and handling charge. Which is noted on your pink slip given to you when you paid. If you weren't able to keep your appt due to illness or for whatever reason, all you had to do was call and reschedule your appt. I have honored coupons 3 months old before. Why in the world would you write a check to a company and not expect them to cash it? That does not make sense. I do not know of ANY company that would ask you to write them a check and then they will hold it for you until you come back, (Except for check cashing places) and if you do not come back just rip it up. You wote the check, you should definately have expected it to be cashed. The problem is that you never rescheduled your appt so that you could "GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR." (That is your fault, not Olan Mills)
