This report that is written firstly begins with the fact that commendation must be given to those who will in fact expose that which is corrupt such as greed.  I see absolutely no problem in exposing falsehood.  Greed was spoken of in the Bible and the apostle Peter spoke of those who would practice it and those who would be involved with it when he said this in (2 Peter 2: 3):

3. and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep

However, there has also been a terrible trend that has taken place with those who have taken up the mandate to expose that which is fraudulent and that is while they are so caught up obsessively to expose that which is fraudulent they have forgotton to be caught up in bringing souls to Christ who happens to always be True

This has definitely been the case with Ole Anthony.  In Ole Anthony's secular media-related involvement hardly if ever has he ever told those who have seen what is fraudulent in others to come to Christ who is True who indeed might be unsaved at the time.  This is a shame to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus did not give us the mandate while it is highly commendable to expose what is fraudulent but He gave us the command (Mark 16: 15) to fully reveal Him by the preaching of His gospel-which is known as the gospel of Christ.  Paul spoke of the seriousness of not preaching the gospel of Christ when He said this in (1 Corinthians 9:16)

16. for woe (a similar word for woe can be the word doomed) is me if I do not preach the gospel.

The Apostle Paul seriously warned about the fact that there was the doom of God's judgment upon those who would not preach the gospel of Christ and he included himself in that category also as well.  It is one thing to expose fakes but to get distracted by this at the expense of not telling sinners to repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ when you have the opportunity to do so in the media is indeed great deception.  The Apostle Paul warns us about those who would only be literally obsessed over discussions that produce only distraction from the gospel.  These distractions he called “worldly and empty chatter” (I Timothy 6: 20-21) and those who were obsessed with this we see that the Apostle Paul warned had departed from the faith.

20 O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— 21 which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith.

The reason why Paul would classify these distractions away from the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as "worldly and empty chatter" is because of what Paul said earlier about these very people in (1 Timothy 6: 4, 5) when he said this:

4 he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction...

In other words such people who engage in such distractions away from the gospel are only interested in "controversial questions" or in other words controversy.  Yes, the Apostle Paul does speak of those who can do this as those who can be greedy (I Timothy 6: 5) but people who wish to engage in controversy do not have to be ones who are greedy but instead can be ones who are not greedy but are those only after controversy instead.  The Apostle Paul spoke of these people who engaged only in controversy as those who had turned aside to "fruitless discussion" (I Timothy 1: 6):

6 For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion.

Paul is not against exposing false people (Titus 1: 12):

12 One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. For this reason reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith

But one should NOT be making it an obsession and a priority over and above the preaching of the gospel that you do not tell others to repent of their sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior while at the same time you may be doing the commendable work of exposing fraudsters and fakes (Romans 15: 19-20).  Paul never made the exposure of fraudsters his highest aspiration.

19...I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. 20 And thus I aspired to preach the gospel...

Notice, Paul's highest aspiration was to fully preach the gospel of Christ not fully preach controversy.  The gospel of controversy is not the gospel of Christ. Those who practice such are deceivers who are "empty talkers" because they are not full of the gospel of Jesus Christ in telling others to repent of their sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and they are those who are full of deception themselves just like the people they are exposing (Titus 1: 10):

10 For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers...

Such is the case with Ole Anthony.  Those who practice the "gospel of greed" are deceived but equally are those who practice the "gospel of gossip and controversy" as well.  One should never follow either because both are not interested in preaching the true gospel of Christ because both operate by tremendous deception and BOTH are indeed tremendously and greatly deceived.  The true gospel of Jesus Christ will always be what is found below and ANY who forsake the preaching of this Woe be unto them for they are a deceived and a deceiver as well-and that goes for Ole Anthony and ALL those who are like him as well.  One who reads this should consider that if Jesus Christ is not their true Lord and Savior they should make the decision to let Him be their true Lord and Savior today by following what is found below (Romans 10: 8-11):

8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

I, the Author am absolutely amazed when people who say they believe in the Bible are against the Bible when it clearly exposes someone who needed to be exposed-named Ole Anthony.

So you want FACTS well here they are again:

1.  The report is NOT against the work of exposing fraud but rather overemphasis of it to the point where Jesus and turning to Him by ALL is not at all proclaimed.  Read it.  It says so over and over again.

2.  If you look at ALL of the interviews by Ole Anthony when does he at ANY time tell the viewer or the interviewing reporter to:

(1) Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ? (2) Give their lives over to Christ and to the true gospel? Never has he done this.  It is full blown sinful compromise to the highest order of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

3.  How does a man smoking (which of course is a pipe) have a sound example with this to help set free those who smoke-just a sidenote here but worth a thought.

4.  Why does one of his videotapes produced about Robert Tilton (whom I will also denounce for his ways) by his organization he is a part of say these words:

"This videotape is an instructional aid produced by the door magazine a division of the non-profit Trinity Foundation.

It is intended solely for educational purposes in a classroom setting in a church, synagogue or mosque cirriculum."

So please tell me how are you winning the followers of Judaism and the followers of Islam if the Trinity Foundation is empowering their skepticism to be even more Anti-Jesus and Anti-His Gospel???

Shame on you all for ALL your lies!  Woe be truly to you all for not preaching the true gospel committed to ALL believers.

God will certainly judge you all for this. The souls of those who did not come to Christ because of your actions you all will be held personally responsible for.

This report is not true in any way, shape, or form.  In the interest of full disclosure, I work for the Trinity Foundation.  However, that said, read this article on our website from the New Yorker Magazine about Ole Anthony and the Trinity Foundation http://www.wittenburgdoor.com/ole_anthony ... there are many more.

Or, contact the elders of the Community on Columbia church here http://communityoncolumbia.org/ .  Ole is a sold-out believer and preaches the gospel of Christ daily.  Much of his research about how Christ fulfilled the Jewish Feast days can be found on this website.  Do not trust reports from people who won't give out their real name.
