OMNI INSURANCE GROUP, ATLANTA, GA 30348 QUOTED A RATE THEN LATER SAID IT WAS BASED ON A DISCOUNT THEN KEPT RAISING RATES AT THE LAST MINUTE EACH MONTH AND BACKDATED INCREASE TO BEGINNING OF POLICY. PAID LAST PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE ATLANTA, Georgia
Omin kept increasing premiums each month. Only had from 3/21 to 5/24. Cancelled 15 days early and when asked for refund they said I still owe $115. They quoted a lower rate in the beginning just to get your deposit then increased rates and said you didn't meet the qualifications for the discount. They never said rate was based on a discount in the beginning. They started off saying rate would be $144, then in a few days said $178, then raised to over $200. They sent bill after cancellation saying they would send to a collection agency if not paid. Have never had a company do this kind of business what a rip off. Plan to file a report with BBB. Last payment was made a day early over the phone. Told them needed to pay by credit card since wallet was stolen and someone used bank card. They still charged non sufficient fund fee even though paid a day early. Don't be fooled like I was with bogus rates that they quote.
