First of all, I was intrigued by the Guaranteed Resolution, and free 15 minutes / consultation.  I was having a simple problem of my Windows Installer (MSI / Installshield Wizard) freezing up.  I tried all fixes I could find online with no success so I gave in and decided to pay for help.  Oh boy, was I in for a ride...  After 4 hours, yes 4 hours, of watching this guy completely render my computer useless using remote assistance, I finall cut him off and ended up having to do a complete system restore on my computer.  The call started with a salesperson trying to sell me a yearly maintenance plan.  I refused as I only needed help with one issue.  I was told I could pay $49.99 for this issue and it would be resolved.  I paid, and within a few minutes had someone all over my computer changing the registry, deleting user accounts, receiving error after error because he had made so many changes to the registry.  I finally decided to pull the plug when I asked him if he knew what he was doing and he said he was going through forums on the internet to try and find the solution.  He installed crappy malware and registry cleaners that anyone can find online.  By the end, we were not even worried about the issue I originally called about because everything else was screwed up.  This is a brand new computer and just had one problem.  In the end, I had to do a system restore back to the time he logged in.  It got me back to where I started which at that time was a huge relief.  So regarding the issue, after further investigation on my own, it was caused by my antivirus software.  I disabled it and bingo, problem solved.

To this day, I receive at least 1 phone call and email from these guys in India trying to let them reconnect so they can destroy my computer again.  I tried to respond to all the emails but none of their email addresses are valid.  I finally got a hold of them and told them they could not fix my computer and to issue a refund and they are only going to issue 1/2 back.  All in all, the worst $25 I have ever spent.  Do not let these morons into your computer.  Call Microsoft Directly.  At least they know what they are doing.
