I consulted with Nigel Gower of 24 On demand Web Solutions who was referred to me by a very well respected friend in the music industry to discuss doing an online website for me which had previuosly been started by another programmer. Nigel and i also discussed doing a PDF catalog for a separate fee after the site was completed. I advised Nigel of the situation and what else was needed to be done to get me up and running. I stressed that the project was already way behind schedule and could it be done by him and his company (Nigel Gower of 24OnDemand web Solutions) within 2-3 weeks, i was told, yes, for sure...that was in July of 2013. I told Nigel that the previous team was out of the country and that was not good for me because of the time difference and lack of communication.

Nigel was based in Atlanta and that was one reason i went with him. Nigel never mentioned to me after my out of the country concern that his team who does work for him was also out of the country, the same country as the previous team no less. I was not made aware of that until my distributor told me that they had to unblock access for Nigel's team because they were not in the states. I paid a $1700. deposit 2 days after my initial conversation with Nigel which was half of the total bill to start the work. That same day i submitted everything that Nigel said he needed as far as passcodes, links, hosting information, etc.

Moving forward, Nigel and spoke maybe 1-2 times per week and i thought we were making progress until i asked to send me what was done so i can review it. Thats when the delays started. He said he would contact the team and get back to me. Afetr month 1 had passed, i started questioning the delay and was given a story about them just still updating everything. In the midle of month 2 i was becoming aggravated and expressed my concerns about the timing. I was told they are working on everything and it wouldnt be much longer, still nothing to view.

Month 3, now my emails and messages are more aggressive and Nigel and i discussed the issues which he then said there was a problem with the feed and images. I said why didnt you say tht 2 months ago, i gave him the direct number for the distributor and asked him and his team to contact them to resolve the issue asap, i also gave him the link that i received from a diferent distributor so we could see if that one was better and switch companies. I did everything possible to keep moving with the developement of the site. Nigel nor his team members ever contacted the distributor regarding the feed images, etc. I started complaining to Nigel and he then agreed to make sure everything was taken care of and said he would do the PDF catalog for free since there had been such a delay in completion.

At this time we were four months behind schedule. Nigel stopped communicating all together after that. He nor anyone from his team responded to any emails, texts or voicemails that i left all the way up until Nov 9th 2013. I continued to call and leave messages and voicemails but no reply. I was left eith no choice but to begin looking for someone to start my project all over again. I had no passcodes, backend login , or any information to access what Nigel said he had done so the new web programmer had no option other than to start fresh.

On December 2nd 2013, I conatcted an attorney to give Nigel a call and send him and his team an email regarding the situation. The attorney left a message and Nigel called him back he next day saying he was still working with me. How? My attorney told him that he had seen all of the emails and texts and he saw that Nigel had not even responded in almost 30 days. My attorney advised Nigel that i was requesting a refund asap due to breach of contract and Nigel refused saying he had worked on the site and wa not giving my $1700 back or anything, even though he never reached out to me or mentioned my site until the attorney contacted him. That is not how you do business at all.

I trusted him and told him up front that i was already behid schedule. Nigel has cost me more money besides what i gave him for the website becuause i had to hire someone new to do the site since i wasnt sure if i was ever going to hear from him again, i also had to continue to spend the money to maintain the hosting, cc processors, and every other monthly bill associated with having this website when in fact i had no funtioning website to make money from. I dont think it was right to have someone feel they can do that to you after spending your money woith them then turn around 4 months later and say i will give you what iahve but im not giving you any money back. The new programmer has already started and is using his own methods of building my site so what Nigel would give me is garage, null and void at this point but he still wants me to pay for it. Im just stuck, too bad in his eyes. $1700.00 is a lot of money for me and he is completely wrong for what he did.

I’m shocked at the situation. We have had very positive experiences with all of the company and especially Nigel Gower.
