Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I posted my information on onemodelplace.com and what a complete waste of my time. I have never been contacted by so many people wanting to either get me naked or try to get in bed with me. I have been listed on www.onemodelplace.com for over 8 months and in that time I have yet to receive one legitimate job request.

This company boasts, all over their fromt page, that there are thousands of hits each day but what they don't tell you is that all of them are from sick or horny people. In my opinion, no legitmate company uses this site. If you are thinking of using onemodelplace.com please take this warning and stay away. Or if your thinking of putting your kids picture on their site be prepared to be contacted by all pedophiles in your area.

They are very dishonest people and my recommendation to all is to stay as far away from onemodelplace.com as you can.

IN RESPONSE to DAMON'S note here... Please read the Ripoff Report on why Damon was removed from OneModelPlace here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/287/RipOff0287790.htm IN REPSONSE to Cindy's report: Dyana (above) is absolutely correct: OMP is a hosting site, where each member is responsible for how they manage their own accounts. If a model has incorrect information or categories checkmarked for the types of work they do, they will likely get the wrong types of offers. Occasionally an incorrect offer will slip through, but this is usually the exception - and when a photographer sends the wrong types of offers to models, they are first warned, and if they do not heed that warning, they lose the use of the OMP Email system (and in some cases are removed from the site).

onemodelplace.com can not be blamed for this.

As with any site that has grown to outstanding numbers like onemodelplace.com, it is impossible to control the type of members that they get or what they do! But if you are looking for a more reputable site to work with, that may really help you find work, I've found (((competitor's name redacted))) to be quite helpful and their staff really work on a high standard. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

After 2 weeks of being a "member" I solicited models for LEGITATMATE PAID WORK and my account was suspended due to "spamming" If introducing yourself and explaing what you want in the job and the rate of pay you are offering the model and call that spamming then what is real spamming? I have contacted paypal and filed a complaint aganst them and paypal is working on getting my money back. THIS SITE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF

Get Real, you can't blame the site for the users

Onemodelplace.com is a very legimitate place sure there are people who use the site to try to get other things (such as what you listed) but there are very professional photographers and models on that site. I have been contacted by the good and the bad point is you can't blame the site for the users that sign up to use its service so you really need to remove this it makes you look bad.

OMP is a Great Resource

I've been using the OMP free service for about 3 months now and have had well over 9,000 hits to my profile.(#111740) On the first day after signing up I recieved about 200 e-mails from photographers. About 60% of them were for Maxim style work, adult work, and fetish - none of which I do. I immediately modified my profile to state "I am always chaperoned for TFP/TFCD shoots or shoots not arranged through my agency." AND "not comfortable with nudity, adult, or fetish in any form or media." Since that modification all the contacts I have recieved are from legitimate photographers whom I have worked with on many occasions and none of which have asked me to do anything I stated I was uncomfortable with. OMP is not responsible for your working - it's just a resource - it's up to you how you use it. I don't even have to pay for it to reap all the benefits (when you pay you can enter contests and contact more people... ect... but I'm doing fine on the bare bones -AND- I'm working a lot!)

OneModelPlace.com (OMP) is a very professional, well run Website who's creative initiative has lead many thousands of highly skilled and talented members from around the World to unite thier creative skills. My business (Mark Edwards International Photography ID 37409) has incorporated OMP as a means of showing our Studio Portfolios to: agents, models, editors & clients -all over the World! This has proved very successful with us, securing bookings and WorldWide Travel due to the terrific Website Presentation. OMP is a credit to the owners and people who work there. I must say that any Website Community is entirely what one makes it - you have to work hard at any business to get the best from it! I strongly recommend OneModelPlace.com as a means of "Global Communication and Portfolio Representation". Outstanding Professionalism by a great community.
