One Source Talent Chicago Office Scam scam, former employee of oak brook office tells the real deal, jessica office manager ripoff Oak Brook Illinois Illinois
As a former scout and someone who worked for a real agency at one time, let me tell you what a scam this is with actual evidence from their office. first of all. word for word basic approach they teach their scouts. if you are talent anywhere in america either at a mall,college,coffee shop, store. ect. and someone starts telling you the following run far far away:
Excuse me, I'm a scout for a national modeling company and I think you have a GREAT look! I want you to come in to my office for an invitation only open call on such and such date. This is your invitation and it also has my information on it. Can I get your name and number so my receptionist can call and confirm your appointment. Thank you and I'll see you there!!
That scout that fed you that line of crap is on straight commision. they want their $500 per week goal if they reach 5 enrollments. everybody makes the call if you have the money. That means if your stupid enough to enroll with this "modeling management company"(not even a real agency) They will charge you $395.00 plus $30 a month. and try to "Upsell" you on photo packages. They have just moved to the Oak brook mall Which is their Chicago location. All of the stuff they cast for you can easily look up on craigslist. it's nothing special trust me. Just reality show crap. It's a sweat shop and totally unethical on so many levels.

I too have signned up with OneSourse Talent and I regrete being so nieve. Very non-personable and there work shops are an dead give away that it's about cashing in on dreamers and dreamers that have little to no chance to become that star model, actor, or popular face that is at least going break even on your over $800.00 investment: not to mention a monthly membershipp exspence. Follow your intuition and don't do it!
