Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I signed up for this money making fradulent scam called "Consumer Reports" because I recieved an LinkedIn message from my County Commissoner, I suspect his acct. was either hacked or he had heard about it through someone else not knowing it was a scam.  I sent him a message so that he could email anyone to not buy any of those cards.  Anyway, I received an email to and a $3,300 check to deposit into my acct (which I know is a scam to steal your acct. info) and then buy 6 $500 (which I thought was a very unusally high amount) prepaid VanillaOne cards.....never heard of them.....ANOTHER RED FLAG.

I would get to keep only $300 out of this scam, if I was lucky enough to get to it before the money was stolen from me.  I decided to read the TERRIBLE REVIEWS ON LINE before wasting my time going to the bank and not one was a good review. Some people lost as much as $500, but I haven't read one review that said they recieved a check in the mail to deposit, so this might be a new scam since the consumers buying at the store and reporting them is getting old!!  People are buying these cards at gas stations and drug stores to pay bills or make purchases and when they try to use them most of the time they're told their cards have 0 balances or they have to wait 24 hours to use them.  There are very few people that were able to make purchases with their cards.  One lady had her whole amount stolen from her.  She put $500 on the card to purchase Christmas gifts and wasn't able to use not $1!!

Thank God, they didn't scam me or get any of my money.....I was so excited when I recieved this check and thought that this site was a great way to have a "second income!!"

All retailers need to be warned to stop selling these cards and this company needs to be put out of business, fined heavily, put in jail and their earnings need to be refunded to all the people they've scammed!!

This is terrible to take people hard earned money like this.  I hope that this email doesn't fall on "death ears."
