Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to CompUSA last year and they said that I needed someone to help me setup my wireless in my house. I paid for this at compusa and they sent someone out to my house the next week. I find out that they guy was actually from www.computerrepair.com which is now www.onforce.com and that this was his first job, he stun etc etc. He partially fixed my problem.

About two weeks ago I got a summons that there was a contractors lein put against my home and when I talked to my attorney they researched this guy. Apparently the guy has been in prison for rape and compusa / onforce / computerrepair didn't check before they sent him out.

This is very distrubing, as I am a single white female. Watch out and don't use them.

Background checks

The background checks are just a way for them to pocket 1/2 the money you pay for them.

Onforce wont even accept a govt clearance.. saying that it means nothing to them.

Onforce wont even accept a BG check from another source.. it has to be thru "their" providor.. paid to them.

I personally love it when unqualified techs go out.. it just means more work for me to go back and fix the problems at my rate..

Keep up the poor work guys..

Truth be told, the providers can take a background check and drug test if the choose. It is not REQUIRED, you can only REQUIRE employees to take a drug test and/or bg check and Onforce providers are not employees the are contractors. It doesn't matter anywho because the majority of the companies use whats called a quick route to 40 techs in the area. The only company that does require the test and check is Dell and they do most of their business thru barrista and qualserve due to lack of qualified techs available at Onforce. Onforce is a joke.

OnForce is getting better

Jamie, Let me first apologize that you had such a bad experience with OnForce, though it is not the perfect platform it is very good and trying to get better. I am a technicain on the Onforce Platform and I cannot condone the actions of your Provider or his background nor can I condone the lack of due diligence on the part of Onforce. All I can say since you had this experience things are getting better. OnForce has instituted background checks and drug test to the provider community and is actively weeding out the bad apples. Is it too little too late for you? Maybe but please don't condemn the whole process because on one jerk. I am sorry you had to deal with this technician but the OnForce of today is getting rid techs like him. You have every right to be mad and angry and to bad mouth OnForce. I am just offering an olive branch to say that they are aware, they are still growing and things are getting better. Thanks, Paul A. Walters OnForce Technician 5615
