Puchased multiple times from Tiger direct/Onebate on or about 4/25/06.

All equipment was good, still waiting for rebates...ALL OF THEM.

Typical runaround. Provide all required documentation, submitted on time, made copies, followed tracking numbers.

Still no rebates.

Three checks supposedly sent May 23, never recieved.

On phone with Onrebate 7/9/06;"sent to accounting...should see them 7-10 business days" Confirmed that the 4 other rebates were approved for payment 7/3/06. status changed emails confirmed have been recieved and approved.

Called again today (8/2/06) was told the 3 still in accounting.

The 4 approved for payment signals the "beginning of the 8-10 weeks waiting period for fullfilment".

"Pedro", who not only refused to give me his last name, clock or employee ID number, but also tried to convince me that his supervisor, whom he eventually identified as Mickey Thomas, wasn't at her desk, has no direct phone number ( "use the 1-888 #"), nor any voice mail. He placed me on hold and 3 minutes later he stated that he would transfer me to her voice mail.

I left a detailed message and my personal phone number, requesting a return phone call immediately to confirm all information supplied by me was accurate. Still waiting on that one.

As a note, I did purchase items without rebates from Tiger- no problem with that.

I had purchased a 19" monitor with a $70.00 rebate. I had elected to recieve the rapid rebate for a "expedited fee" of $5.50

I recieved that rebate the same week.

I do believe that OnRebate is a total scam, where you pay a "fee" for them not to loose or deny any rebate forms properly submitted in good faith.

I will be happy to cooperate in any action against OnRebate/Tiger Direct.

10-9-06 Spoke with April, "accounting never recieved anything". I have to praise April though, She told me what she will do. Actually did what she said she would (thank you), and I finally recieved all my rebates with in two weeks. Thank you April for actually helping the customer, something that apparently is too long in the waiting with On Rebate.

Thank you, Mr. DeJesus, for the reply. Being researched? Your company gave me the tracking numbers- which I forwarded to you as requested- Real simple, Has check # xxxxxxx issued for rebate # xxxxxxx been issued ? or re-issued ? I brought this attention to your company July 9- "looking into it"-nothing done. Again, Aug 3- "looking into it"- nothing done Again, Aug 13- "researching" ? Your words, Mr. DeJesus; " The rebates shown below have been submitted to our reaserch department for reissue. These checks should be in the mail in 2-3 business days." My response to Mr. DeJesus to the "Researching" It's been more than 2-3 business days. Please, just be honest with me. Am I going to get these rebates as promised, or not ? I know you are busy- 166 complaints alone on ripoffreport.com. Not to mention the FTC and various States' Attorney's General's looking into your company. All I ask is that if you are going to continue to stall, just say so. Then I can pursue more appropriate action. Regards,

I responded to Mr. De Jesus immediately. He wrote back;"The rebates shown below have been submitted to our reaserch department for reissue. These checks should be in the mail in 2-3 business days." on Aug. 3 10 days later, I have requested an update- no response yet. I have elected to include Mr. Antoine Myers ([email protected]) Customer Service Manager to the mix of emails being sent. I am willing to be involved in legal action with the Florida Department of Commerce, Wisconsin Department of Commerce and the FBI- (interstate fraud) unless this come to a satisfactory conclusion.
