Got one of their letters in the mail promising me a huge savings on my current auto loan. Filled out their online app. and two days later was told I didn't qualify. Not what was promised in their original mailing that I had been "pre-screened" and met ALL their requirements and qualifications. DO NOT do business with these folks. Read the internet reviews first as I should have done.

Well, since my original report here, I was contacted by Openroad Lending and told that I was speaking to one of their "credit specialists" who then proceeded to connect me with some alledged company that would work with me to repair my credit for a fee. Yeah, right. They guy confirmed my phone number "in case we get cut off I'll call you back," and then during the conversation, we got cut off!! Amazing clairvoyant abilities of these folks. Well.......I'm still waiting on that call-back.

Bottom line here, I DID READ the fine print on the back of their letter and according to all that mumbo-jumbo, I met all their qualifications........obviously since I was "PRE-APPROVED"......... and have YET to receive any requests from OPENROAD regarding additional documentation as the first caller had suggested was ther reason I was denied. These folks are big-time bait and switch, ripoff, get your personal info, lower your credit score folks that need to be SHUT DOWN!!!

State the Facts Please

Thank you for your comments about our company. Unfortunately, you need to state all of the facts related to your application. If you had read the back of the pre-approval letter, you would have noticed several factors that could change the approval terms and sometimes even turn the approval into a decline. The biggest being that there can be no change in your credit report from the time we get the data from the credit reporting agencies to the time you actually apply for the loan. In your case, that is exactly what happened. When we got the data from the credit reporting agencies, you were in good standing on your existing auto loan. As of the date you completed the application, the credit bureau was reporting you were currently past due one payment. That means you no longer qualify.

We help thousands of consumers every month save money by refinancing their auto loans. Unfortunately when something like this occurs, our hands are tied.

Regards,

The OpenRoad Lending Team
