Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On 11/10/2013 a representative from Federal Interest Savings called me per telephone for the purpose of lowering my insured with auto loans for a fee of $799.US I agreed to debit $299.00 from Barclays Bank and $500.00 from Orchard Bank Gold MasterCard.  After my explanation of facts to Barclays Bank AND Orchard Bank with ALL Documents specifying that: After several calls, emails, faxes letters to Wendy, Gino Niccoli, owner of Federal Interest Savings without response I filed a complaint to The Arizona Attorney General per Federal Interest Savings Full Refund Policy.

Furthermore, Arizona Attorney General explained that when they contacted Mr. Gino Niccoli about this matter his response is: Federal Interest Savings is out of business. Please tell Mr. Barron to contact his banks for a refund. He HAS RECEIVED NO SERVICE. Barclays Bank issued a refund of $303.53 without hesitation. Orchard Bank refused to issue any credit. Then why after Orchard Bank received dated evidence of documented facts including faxes, dates of correspondence, information from Arizona Attorney General ever refused to credit my account? Now, after several months they say the file is closed. All pertinent information was sent within the time limit of dispute as documented. Am over 75 years old .

Depending on how the payment from Orchard was made, you might be able to get your money back. If it was a "credit card" transaction, you're afforded certain levels of purchase protection and should be able to get a refund.

However, if the payment was made like it was a check, the rules can be different and though you may be on the hook now, try looking to see if the transaction meets the bank's requirements to allow it to be reported as fraud... that might turn things around.

See, if you wrote a check for a purchase and then tried to return the product to a store and they refused... the bank isn't going to refund you for that. But if it was a fraudulent transaction to begin with, you might be covered.

P.S. Nobody cares how old you are... it's irrelevant and you're either capable of handling your finances on your own or you're not, and therefore shouldn't have the power to make purchases or financial decisions.
