I actually find that pretty funny since I literally have NO income coming in by ANYONE. I'm a hobbyist and a hobbyist alone. I don't even have a bank account. So that put's a big hole in your theories. I just support superior products that have proven to promote coral growth, provide excellent lighting and high numbers in both deep and shallow waters.

Try doing a little more research before you guys decide it's okay to bash a company. Aside from that, purchasing through marinedepot.com covers all support, do your research before crying.

Joe, your fanboi-ism long ago discredited you as a consumer! you are obviously being paid by Orphek.  Orphek scammers I should say.

There's a whole lot of talk here and still zero phone number on Orphek's website.  In fact the site is now a bunch of BADLY WITTEN ENGRISH IN ALL CAPZ. 

I can see why Orphek has to pay people like you.  Their own image is atrocious!

I took it upon myself to look further into the accusations involving Orphek and Marine Depot. This is exactly what Marinedepot.com sent back to me which proves that the reports filed are pure defamation of an AMAZING LED company:

Chinese led lighting companies are popping up everywhere, and Orphek LED lighting is just another one to come and go. I should have realized this before purchasing. Learn from my mistake!!!'

Our warranty & shipping policies are detailed in our website and we have a no return clause. Our company would never ask its clients to return a defective unit to China, simply because it is against our policy.

Units purchased in the USA with a valid warranty can be sent (by the original purchaser) to a US address for repair, upon our technical support evaluation and decision. If a defective unit cannot be repaired, and it is under a valid warranty, our company will replace it for a brand new product, free of charge.

We were never contacted by this supposed client and although we have gathered enough evidence that this is a fictitious persona, with the systematically clear intention to harm our image for his own personal joy or reasons, we are still giving the opportunity to stand forward and really solve this problem, if there was ever one, by contacting [email protected]

Stressing out a bit about this person - it came to our knowledge that he has been posting many other ripoffs report under many fictitious names, trying to mislead consumers and harm our company. Also regarding this alleged purchaser, we advise to all consumers evaluating to purchase our products, or ANY other LED lighting product, that anonymous bashing should not be taken under consideration. 

Someone who is really not satisfied with a purchase of any kind, and has the good will of helping others, does not hide himself under an anonymous signature. Both Libel and Bashing are considered crimes even when performed via Internet anonymously, and it can be subjected to both Criminal and Civil Lawsuits.
