So you can scratch up my boat, you can steal my fish finders and want my insurance to pay for it? I don't think so! Bailees are responsible for any damage for goods in their control.
Plus, it is Deceptive Trade Practice under state law to charge a consumer money and not give an invoice for how many hours and at what hourly rate. In fact you cannot charge anything without me agreeing before! The law also provides for attorney's fees.
And of course, you don't accept anything from me but CASH to get my boat - a DAMAGED BOAT AT THAT.
How about posting here your policy on taking cash only? Let see everybody how does that work!
And lets not forget that little fraud there that this boat was sold me as new. Later I find out that it was on water for many-many hours unregistered . . .
BOATERS BEWARE! DON'T GO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID!!!!

Rebuttal:
Thank you for the opportunity for this responce.
Mr. Collins did have his boat in for an estimate and repair. We were required to dismantle and evalute a mechanical components on his outboard motor. Specifically he hit something and damaged his gearcase. Mr. Collins was not in agreement with the insurance company's policies and wanted a complete gearcase and refused to accept that his be rebuilt. His insurance company should pay for this work.
In an attempt to persuade the insurance company to repair with the complete gearcase I wrote them and faxed the leter. They still refused not Owen's Marine, Inc. Because Mr. Collins could not reach an agreement with his insurance company we were not able to complete repairs. Also the delay was a result of Mr. Collins and his dealings with his insurance company.
As for the depth finders and the damage, Mr. Collins signed a release stating that he would take full responsibiltiy for his boat while at our premises. I would suggest that his insurance is responsible for anything that happens to his boat.
Currently, we would like Mr. Collins to seek an alternate repair facility for future problems.
Thank You Again
Randy Owen
