Complaint Review: ozripoff.com - Internet

www.ozripoff.com is a fraudulent, illegal and extortion based website used by Larry Pickering who is the shadow director behind a company called Cohen Strachan Investment Pty Ltd ACN 123 995 326.

Cohen Strachan Investment had a registered office at 'Burleigh Office Park' building 6, Level 1, 5 Executive Drive Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 and went into Liquidation on 15/11/2010 appointed by KordaMentha. Moments before Cohen Strachan Investment had their computers seized by KordaMentha they removed the hard drives to erase any trace of evidence.  Cohen Strachan Investment and its directors have been reported to ASIC for breach of the Corporations Act and further investigation is continuing with impending prosecution..

Cohen Strachan Investment sold a piece of market trading software called Carbon A which never worked because it was copied from another manufacturer and rebranded as their own. When consumers demanded refunds and (some) commenced legal action against the company Cohen Strachan Investment started posting slanderous, false and misleading information about those people on its own website (www.ozripoff.com).  Some of these victims include whistle blowers and former employees.  Cohen Strachan Investment have changed hosting companies at least 3 times since it was created on 07-Mar-2008 and they have done this for several reasons, one of the being that each time a victim would write to the then-hosting company legitimising their claim the hosting provider would discover that the victims claims were true and would subsequently shut down www.ozripoff.com so Cohen Strachan Investment kept jumping ship every time they were closed down by each hosting company.

Whoever is reading this report, please note that the operators of www.ozripoff.com are under investigation by a NSW police licensed private investigator for being involved in a serious internet fraud matter relating to a group of criminals located on the Gold Coast, Australia.

www.ozripoff.com supposedly represents consumers who have been ripped off or scammed by Australians but all of these allegations made against the 'scammers' are totally false, misleading and designed to cause harm and embarrassment to their social and business lifestyles.

Before you consider the legitimacy of the postings made against any person on www.ozripoff.com I urge you to consider the following:

1- Some of the postings made on www.ozripoff.com are racist, use foul language and have serious accusations against people being rapists and sex offenders without any evidence from the person making the claims, is this the professional image of a website you would base your trust on?

2- There is no verification process for the accusations being made, if someone was going to list you as a a person who spent time in prison for fraud or a sex offender shouldn't that information be suppressed by law?  www.ozripoff.com flaunt that information for everyone to see, despite the fact that its probably not true but they don't care.

3- The website is claiming to be Australian based and protecting Australians consumers yet its hosted in America. The reason they have done this is to overcome any legal action by Australian law firms so they use international web hosting providers to make legal recourse almost impossible.

4- A real 'consumer protection' website would not contain explicit and racist postings made by anonymous individuals rather they would only contain lawful and accurate content in the best interests of the consumer with some form of access to the publisher

5- All of the posts made have false or anonymous names where the people posting those articles cannot be contacted to verify the authenticity of those claims, this alone should be a cause for suspicion

6- www.ozripoff.com do not contain a single thread of negative information about Carbon A or Cohen Strachan Investment because these are the people (and product) behind ozripoff.com and they use it to their advantage; search it yourself and you will see
 
7- www.ozripoff.com are willing to charge to a $5,000 fee to remove any negative content on your name
but "won't guarantee that it won't appear again and you will have to go through the whole process (and pay for it) again".  What does this tell you "between the lines"?

So in conclusion, please reconsider the perception you may make against anyone listed on these various ripoff websites because in this case, most of those websites are operated by organised crime groups and that's what you may be basing your judgment and perception on, a product of organized crime!
