P & R Arco Paid 500.00 cash for SUV to be fixed in 12/2004 still don't have SUV. Ripoff Philadelphi Pennsylvania
Two weeks before Christmas my SUV broke down on my way home from work. I saw this shop and walk over to it to see if I could get a tow truck. I spoke to a man name Terrence, he ensure me that he could tow and fix my car. So I left the Keys.
In January 2005 I received a call fro a man name Reggie, He is suppose to be the owener of this company. He was calling because my SUV needed a timmer belt and he need a deposit for parts. I took him 100.00. Then two weeks later he Reggie calls again and says that he need more then 100.00 for parts I ask him how much are the parts he said he did not know. I then ask him how musch more did he need he said 400.00. So I took that to him and received a hand witten receipt for the total amout of 500.00.
I then started to call this shop to see what the problem is. I was told on many occation that this shop was having problems getting this part for my Ford SUV. When I call they hang up, of tell me that they are busy. I get a call from Terrence the shop now lost my key and they needed me to call the dealership to get a new key at there cost.
I called Pacico Ford dealers and spoke to a man name Joe Pacico Jr. I took a 1/2 day at work in Feb 2005 to go pick up the key but I had stop at the shop and to my suprise there was my key. I them called Joe back and told him that I was not coming.
Joe called my on 2/18/2005 to see did I get my car, I told him nope. He then ask me what type of job were the doing. I told him and I also let him know that they were having trouble finding the parts. Joe told me that they weren't looking hard because he hass eveything the shop needs to fix my car. Joe called the shop and receive no answer.
Today is March 8, 2005 I've paid a car not for 3 months for a car that I can not drive. I've rented an car to get me and my 2 girls back and forth to school and work. I called him and told him that I was having my car tow to my macanic. Reggie told me to wait until Friday. Please can someone help me!!!!
