Pacific Webworks Refund Refused Ripoff Salt Lake City Utah
I found a charge on my card for $49.95. Upon calling this company, the first words out of the customer service rep's mouth were, "We are not issuing a refund, you agreed to the terms and conditions etc..."
I had no idea what this was for. I asked the rep what this was, she asked if I was stupid. On that note, I asked to speak with a supervisor, or manager and was told they work in an "offline capacity" and could not take transferred calls, which is odd, because as I type this I am holding for the manager Michael......and have left several messages. I also told the rep this was not an authorized charge on my card, and did they ask for any other identifying information such as a ssn, or date of birth. I was told no, only retarded people ask those questions.
After being called stupid and retarded, I did ask to speak with yet another person, and was hung up on. Calling back, I finally spoke to someone who seemed to have some amount of professionalism. And was told the only way I could get a refund was to prove my card was charged without my authorization, I asked if i could get confirmation of the ip address and was told I have to file a police report ( for 50.00 ) and they will then release this to the police. Great, I called the police and was told I would have to prove to them a crime was committed. Talk about against a wall. I want my money refunded. I asked for a letter stating the reasons they would not refund my money, and was refused. So I am stuck and out $50.00 not to mention the time and energy I have put into this in the past few days.
Dealing with my bankin institution has been difficult as well. They said they will have to file a dispute with Visa and that can take up to 90 days, without initially reversing the charge. I cannot speak to anyone higher up, because they are all outsourced and do not understand what I am saying. Have to wonder if these 2 companies are not working together.

Apparently the president of the company is a gentleman named Chris Larson. Luckily, when this unathorized charge posted, this # appeared. 801.673.4719. I don't remember how many messages with different people in this company I have left, I did get confirmation he is the President of the Company and requested a return call. We will see what happens.
