To begin I will not disclose the name of the existing auto repair shop because of an incident with a remark made by a tire service in which Debbie contactated and inguired about theyer ability to question Paladan. The incident was as follows I had some aluminum wheels installed on my car when I installes new tires. When I left I heard a slapping sound and thought it was a piece of cardboard or a rag tsapping the wheel well it turned ot to be missing lugs. Who how what when where unknown I returned an had wrong wheel lugs. The thing I asked them to do was to inspect a oil leak in the section of the rear main oil seal that had been repaired by Paladan.I was told it appears to be leaking I told Debbie this an the next time I spoke with her she told me she called the tire company. Now how I got involved with Paladan was the person I purchased the car from Did Not fully perform the work that I ask- replace the timming belt and waterpump. He did only the water pump in addition to this I had an oil pan leak which he was going to repair when he returned from vacation. While waiting for him to return the leak worstened -enters Paladan. When they checked out the leak I was told that many other gaskets were leaking and told they were around the water pump and the rear main seal appeared to be leaking along with the oil pan gasket. I was shown pictures. I was also told they video taped all repairs - B S. I had the repairs made. then the car had an over heating problem I completely replaced the cooling system. Now I for saftey had the head gasket looked at and replaced and had asked if anything else needed to be done and was told No. Acouple days later I checked the oil and needed a quart I gave them the benifit and felt they forgot to add the quart.A day latter I was filling up and out of habit checked the oil . Again a quart low. I went to Paladan and tolt them I just added 2 qts of oil before I could continue I was told I over filled the engine and blew the rearmain sealand oil pan gasket. When I asked Debbie to see the video of the repair I was told "it wasn't necessary Remember this is a place that video tapes everything -B S. This was 2days after the original repair. the car was driven maybe 30/40 miles on local errands. a couple of days later leaking again. went back and was told it was warrentied out but if this did not do it we woul have to pull the engine. thats when i had enough and sought a new repair shop. Paladan had repaired the rear main 2 times , resurfaced the head, installed schoks that I gave them (cost $200), rebuilt the front end and several other things for a total of some where between $4000/$5000. Now I went to this other shop and when they inspected the rear main they foung the following the upper oil pan gasket was leaking and when they were taking it out the upper pan broke away from the block, in addition to this the rear oil plug was leaking- they gam and got me and I saw the problem. I saw still using a great deal of oil and the reason was 2 valve guides were ripped remember the head was taken off an polished, after the guide repair I was still using large amts of oil. I told him of the over heating problem and we pulled the head and found the rings were damaged from the heat. Now guess what after this shop did the repairs noe more leaks or high oil usage.

I would goe somewhere else for repairs since al that Paladan is intereste in is ripping you off. And I am sure that Debbie will have some very good defence and sarastic comments about me because thats Debbie
