Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Apprx. 6 weeks ago I purchased a 1992 dodge ram-50 from paladin auto for 1,500(which was above the blue book value). First off, I was told it had a/c, but when I showed up to pick up, I was told it didn't. But for $100 more they would put it in in a few weeks.

3 days after pick up it dropped the tranny in the middle of hwy 19. So I called them and they came out to tow it to their shop. After 3 days and no response I called to inquire when I would get it back, and asked if it was running better than when I first picked it up?

DEBBIE (owner) made many excuses of why it was running bad, but that I could pick it up, and would need to bring it back in a few weeks to give it time for the (new) computer to reset and everything would be re-timed and in sync. At that time it would get new wires and oil change and I'll have a great running truck.

When this happened it was worse, but was told it needed a mass air flow sensor that I could purchase and they would install it for a fee. What happened to the part where I gave them my money up front for the good running truck I was promised? Since then I had 2 certified mechanic's try to fix it and am told it is in un-repairable condition.

When I contacted debbie to resolve this issue, I was told to****-off, and don't ever call her again! The complete electrcal has been rigged, the mass air flow is fine, a new distributer was installed, but didn't help. The transmission linkage was rigged with a box end wrench. There's some fine skills!

If you're wise STAY AWAY FROM PALADIN AUTO SERVICE!

RICHARD, AS YOU WELL KNOW, THE VEHICLE I SOLD YOU WAS MY OWN PERSONAL VEHICLE THAT HAD BEEN DRIVEN YEARS BEFORE BY MY SON, THIS WAS NOT ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY BUSINESS AT ALL. YOU HAD SEEN THE VEHICLE WHEN YOU WERE AT MY SHOP FOR OTHER REASONS. I SOLD IT TO YOU PERSONALLY. AS IS. I TOLD YOU THAT IT HAD BEEN SETTING FOR MANY YEARS. YOU SAID YOU WANTED IT ANYWAY. I MADE YOU NO PROMISES AT ALL. I DID TOW IT IN AND REPAIR IT FOR YOU AT NO CHARGE , BUT THE TRANNY DID NOT DROP, IT WAS A SHIFTING LINKAGE ROD THAT YOU HAD "BENT" YOURSELF. JUST FOR THE RECORD. YOU DROVE THE "UN-REPAIRABLE TRUCK' UNTIL YOU SOLD I HAD SEEN YOU AT MY DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAWS HOUSE WITH IT. THERE WAS NEVER ANY MENTION OF THIS THEN. WE BOTH KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT RIGHT . AND I DID EVEN GIVE YOU OTHER THINGS MUCH LATER AT NO CHARGE SINCE YOU WORKED WITH MY SON-IN-LAW. JUDGING BY THE DATE , I THINK THAT YOU PROBABLY DID THIS WHEN I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR OFFER TO INVEST IN YOUR DISC GOLF IDEA. HAD I KNOWN ABOUT THIS SOONER I WOULD HAVE ADDRESSED IT IMMEDIATELY.
