New update (I know just posted complaint). I called the 1-800-425-0006 number, spoke to Jim (refused to give me his last name), of GULF STATE CREDIT (new name for Palisade). He refered me to another number 1-866-877-0008.
This number (-0008) goes to RCS Corp. Spoke to Rachel Cooper, who then upchanneled me to John Graham. He verified the account. He asked on why I disputed the account. I told him that I had never lived at the address on the account. He asked if I had any proof of that. I said yes, I have a copy of the dispute I had with Pac Bell about the same address. He then, quickly gave me the next number/level of the food chain.
The next number went back to Gulf State Credit (1-800-619-3419). I spoke to a Rebecca (very professional and courtious). She removed the account. She gave me the address and phone number of the disputed account.
I requested a letter be sent to me stating all of the above info. She stated the letter should be recieved in 7 days.
Called ATT and with the info that Rebecca gave me I was able to dispute the account and get it cleared on their end also. A letter stating this will also be sent to me.
Hope that others can have as good an outcome with this as I did.
With the above letters, I can fax them to Experian and get the info removed.
