Palm Beach MMA and Cross Training Academy Palm Beach MMA-Owner Ron Boiuso Attention! Beware of this scam of a company! Fraud Alert!!! Riviera Beach Florida
I walked into this boxing gym inquiring on their services & prices & the owner Ron told me they were having a special of $79 a month. No yearly contract its month to month. I asked him are you positive I was scammed by a company years ago that there is no yearly contract which ended up being a lie. He told me absolutely NO contract. So gullible me always trusting people signed my son up.
A few months later I was not happy with this place at all. Very unprofessional & the owner was barely there, 5-10 boys sparring with just 1 instructor he can't keep an eye on all of the kids & my son was injured so I decided to remove him from that place.
I called the owner several times with no response even after I left messages so I sent a termination letter to cancel. I noticed I was still being charged after I terminated contract. I had to call from another # and figures he answered when he didn't recognize the #. I told him I was very unhappy with his company & why am I still being charged after I cancelled contract. He then told me contract is for 1 year! I was absolutely furious that he scammed me into signing up & has me locked in a 1 year contract. I hung up because he was threatening that he is law enforcement & nothing will change because I signed the contract agreeing to the terms.
The next day I spoke to the membership company on the contract AAC & I explained to the lady what happened & she said unfortunately you signed the contract so its a done deal but make sure you send us an email not to auto-renew because if you don't the contract automatically renews for another year unless you cancel auto renew 60 days before your contract ends. Thank god she told me this! Of course HE neglected to tell me this info. So please be cautious before you sign the dotted line!
