Palm Beach Tan Portland Gateway THEY ARE OUT TO GET OUR MONEY! Portland, Oregon
Although they are very nice but I just feel they're out to get your money. They charge $126 for a bottle of "Obsidian - long wear 30X bronzing matrix" while Amazon sells it for $42.36 (same size-same description and sold by Designer Skin, the maker of Obsidian) and when asked the store manager advised not to buy it online because it may be expired. What do you all think? Would Designer Skin dare to sell expired products online? Would Amazon allows that such unethical practice?
So, ladies, make sure to ask carefully before purchase, you can never get your money back or use the credit toward your membership or, better yet, be prepared, purchase it online and bring your own lotion and protect your wallet.

The lotion that you are purchasing online is FRAUDULENT. You are not purchasing your Designer Skin lotion from Amazon.com, you are purchasing it from a Third party retailer....meaning that the so called "Designer Skin" product could be just about anything. Designer Skin products are exclusively sold to licensed salons ONLY.
When you purchase products anywhere other than directly from the manufacturer or licensed retailer, you lose your guarantee that the product is in fact authentic and safe for your skin. I have seen customers on multiple occasions bring in their so called "Designer Skin" lotion. Each time I do a compair test with the customer. I will put a small drop of the fraudulent product next to the authentic product so the customer can directly see the difference. About 70% of the time there will be a significant difference, whether it is that the fraudulent product has a different tint to it, consistency of product is more oil based (usually indicates expired product), or it is just straight up not the product that it has claimed to be.
I completely understand your reasoning for purchasing a product online. After all, I am a consumer myself and if I see something elsewhere that I can purchase at a substantial discount, I would probably do the same thing. Just remember, your not purchasing a cell phone cover, your dealing with skin care and potentially your health. I would be a little more careful when it comes to online purchases. Try looking at it from a different perspective. It is much easier to justify spending $126 on a guaranteed product....every time you purchase that $46 product, you are taking a risk.
