Palmetto Marketing I subscribed to 3 magazine subs & got screwed consumer fraud rip-off coral springs Florida
On the date of 9-7-02, I had a visit from a young man claiming to be a representative of Palmetto Marketing. He stated that he received a certain number of points for specific magazine subscriptions. We were hesitant, but looked them up and it seemed to be legit. Well, it wasn't. Of course, we have never received anything and got screwed out of $80.00. Beware of this RIP-OFF

Just today I posted my comments about this company, then proceeded to make a repot on the BBB site. To my surprise, there was a phone number listed on the BBB site for Palmetto Marketing. That number is (843)448-4701. I may have reacted too soon to make this post, but I am still going to have problems. When I called, they actually had my account and receipt information. Amazing. The problem is, I made this order 4 months ago. They told me that it had not shipped because there was an issue with a subscription that I hadn't even ordered. In addition, one of the ones that I did order, is not even sold by them.To make things worse, I suggested a refund and the woman told me that I would have to fax in my receipt and a request of refund. Well, that's no big deal, except that I live in Oklahoma and a fax will probably cost me 10 bucks to Florida. Hopefully I will get my 80.00 back. Call the company, and good luck.
