Panasonic Faulty 65" Plasma Viera, Internet
I recently purchased a Panasonic TC-P65S1 plasma TV. After approx. 3 months, the TV started popping loudly to the point I could not enjoy watching programs anymore.
I called Panasonic and they sent a service company out, who then installed a "felt kit" to abate metal heating up and rubbing together due to heat inside the TV.
This did not help! I called Panasonic back and was then told that there was nothing else they could do, and that these large TV's just put off a lot of heat. They would not replace my unit, and were absolutely rude on the phone. Basically, I was told to go pound sand.
DO NOT buy this unit, it was very expensive and I am left with a loud, popping Volkswagon hanging on the wall that is absolutely useless to me.
