Tachman actually used to work for the Goodmans, and he went out on his own to make the fortunes! The man with the brains has recently passed away. His name was Bill Martin, and now everything is falling apart. Richard and Bill were partners.

I got a feeling the main player behind this fraud is named Stephen Tashman. He refined the concept of this assembly line way of selling the fraud. He was very successful at it himself. Soon, others who worked under him learned the trade too. They went off to steal their own fortunes. That's probably where these Goodman idiots learned the business. You see, because it's fraud there is no formal education structure in the industry. Most of the people come to the business with no skills other than lying and stealing. They can't sell. Because they live in their own empty world, they don't understand what motivates people. It takes a guy like Tashman to show them how to do things. There is always one person who actually has some brains. Without a brain, the whole group would fold up like a house of cards. Naturally, the worker bees do all the actual contact with customers. They take all the risk, in exchange for a meager cut of the income. When the ax falls, as it inevitably does, the workers get chopped up. Within the week, a new system is in place. Already out and filling the pipeline with a new crop of suckers, eager to throw their hard-earned money away. Just like any form of organized crime, the people behind the scenes are the ones who actually run the business. The indictments never seem to reach those people. That's why the same fraud continues to go on, year in, and year out. It's like dog s**t. It's out there. It's up to you to keep your eyes open and watch that you don't step in any of it.
